Completing a Weekly Review

High school and college students may find it helpful to schedule an appointment with themselves at the beginning of the week to complete a preview of what to expect. To do so, download the Student Weekly Review Worksheet and follow these instructions.

Past-Forward

First, look at the past week and see if there are any tasks that you needed to do that did not get done. Record these here and plan to get them completed as soon as possible in the coming week.

Assignments Due this Week

If your teachers or professors post assignments for the week on-line, look at this information and record your assignments here or on your assignment sheet of choice. If they post assignments for the week on the board each Monday, either take a picture of the board, then write these down here or write them in your planner of choice.

Tests and Quizzes this Week

Look at your calendar or other tools and see what tests or quizzes are coming up this week and record them here.

Projects Due this Week

Look at all the projects you are working on for school or extracurricular activities and record those that are due this week here and on your calendar. Also, record any parts of projects you have committed to complete this week.

Other Tasks To Do This Week

This is a place to write down any other tasks or activities that you have this week. This can include extracurricular activities coming up this week.

Prioritize Your Tasks

If you need to prioritize your tasks for the week, use the priority planner or prioritize by the due date and update the calendar on your phone to make sure you have plenty of time to complete each task.
