The primary objectives of research-proven parent training include increasing parental knowledge and understanding of ADD/ADHD and its effects on behavior and teaching parents strucuted behavioral management techniques to address problems in “real-time.” Ultimately, the goal of this training is to provide a set of parenting skills that will lead to less stress and more harmony within the family.
