Executive Functioning for Educators

The newest and most important term for 21st century educators to understand is “Executive Functioning” (EF).  Sustained attention, working memory, organization, time management, task management, and self-management are EF skills that help students to start the actions they need to start tasks and stop the actions they need to stop tasks over time, in order to reach their goals and stay connected to other people.
