Adult Psychological Evaluation

Our psychological evaluation for adults is typically completed in one to two 50-minute sessions.

  • Clinical interview with the adult and his or her family
  • Review of the individual’s medical and family history
  • Review of psychosocial history
  • Consideration of all possible diagnoses including ADD/ADHD, adjustment, anxiety and mood disorders
  • Consideration of possible co-existing disorders
  • Family and individual education about the diagnosis
  • Discussion of a management plan to address the individual’s specific needs

After the evaluation, we prepare a brief summary and recommendations outlining the adult’s strengths and needs.

If you have questions about this process, please read about my clinical interview, review my frequently asked questions, or call 817.421.8780.
